Key Responsibilities

As a Bricklayer Stonemason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, partitions, arches, and other structures from bricks, blocks, and stone. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Interpreting drawings and specifications to determine materials and layout.

Measuring and marking out the work area.

Laying bricks, pre-cut stone, and other types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair structures.

Shaping, trimming, and setting stone for feature walls, facades, and monuments.

Cutting and shaping materials to fit irregular spaces, using hand and power tools.

Repairing and maintaining existing brick and stonework.

Pointing and finishing mortar joints for a clean and durable finish.

Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualification & Experience

A recognised Bricklaying or Stonemasonry Trade Certification.

A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Bricklayer and/or Stonemason.

The ability to provide all required documents to meet Australian migration eligibility criteria.

Experience with both residential and commercial projects, as well as heritage restoration work, is highly desirable.
