Our experienced recruitment team, alongside global stakeholders, excels at sourcing and selecting candidates tailored to your specific job requirements. We recognise that cultural fit is essential and extends beyond the workplace to the broader community significantly influencing the long-term success and sustainability of employer/candidate partnerships.

Migration

We collaborate with a hand-picked team of Immigration Lawyers and agents registered with the Office of Migration Agents Registration Authority. Our team manages and coordinates migration services to ensure businesses receive timely and efficient support. Through a detailed needs analysis conducted during the recruitment brief, we match businesses with the most suitable agent or lawyer. Our migration services include assistance with DAMA, Company-Specific Labour Agreements, and various other visa subclasses.

Recruitment & Post placement

Investing in your workforce goes beyond hiring. It involves strategic on-boarding, personal and professional development, and a thoughtful approach to employee benefits. Our program designers, with expertise in business coaching and training, understand the critical role of a well-planned on-boarding process.

Our wrap-around support ensures that employers and candidates receive guidance at every step. We provide essential relocation information, facilitate face-to-face video meetings for clarity and transparency, and maintain regular follow-ups with both employers and candidates after placement. This ongoing communication allows us to offer additional performance or emotional support as needed, help prepare for family arrivals, and assist with pathways to permanent residency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I get a skilled person in my business?

Workforce Abundance ensure skilled personnel are eligible for an employer sponsored visa in Australia. Applicants must have certificate 3 level and above qualifications, and in many cases they will also need to undergo a skills assessment through a recognised body including, but not limited to,  VETASSESS, TRA, Engineers Australia or ATTC.

How do I know if the candidate can speak or understand English to follow instructions or
speak to customers?

All of our candidates go through English language testing. We provide their results to you, as well as an introduction video of them speaking to camera

Are their skills, experience and qualifications up
to Australian standards and our expectations?

Some countries do not require skills testing. Where skills testing is required, the candidate will have completed this prior to interview stage. You will also be provided a work video demonstrating their skills.

Does accommodation need to be included
with employer sponsored visas?

The short answer is no. However to ensure minimal disruption to relocation and that your new team member can get to work as soon as possible, we recommend that you assist them in finding suitable accommodation, at least for the short term. Many employers own their own residence that can be sublet out to employees. In that case a rental arrangement can be made between those two parties. Some employers may offer accommodation inside of the employment package

The Workforce Abundance team provides budget templates to assist candidates with budgeting based on their salary. Candidates are responsible for ensuring they manage their income and expenses. Candidates may plan to send money back to family in their country of origin, and may seek guidance on the closest or or most accessible money transfer or banking facility .

Candidates are advised to have funds available to them for their first two weeks after arrival and Australian dollars with them for travel and a Visa/ Mastercard debit card for cashless payments

Do I need to pay for the flight for my new employee to relocate?

This may be required depending on the visa subclass, candidates circumstances or country of origin of the candidate.

How does my new employee get from the airport to their accommodation when they land in Australia?

Our team or you the employer will collect the individual (and or family) from the airport and take them to their accommodation that has been booked or arranged.

What happens if my candidate is not settling in?

The Workforce Abundance Team will provide post placement support for both you the employer and the candidate for three months after they arrive in location.  During this time we will support both parties and check in to see that the candidate is settling into their new environment and work through any challenges that may arise.
